Setup
Setup takes three steps.
Whoever runs your intranet starts it; whoever runs your Microsoft tenant approves it. Neither needs the other’s login.

Register Axero Go in Microsoft Entra
The dialog lists the exact values to paste — or you send your IT admin a one-page link with the same steps and carry on with something else. They never need an intranet login.

Approve it with a Microsoft sign-in
A SharePoint or Global Administrator signs in once and grants read access to the site through a single, prefilled request in Microsoft’s own Graph Explorer. No PowerShell, no scripts.

Pick a folder and where it appears
Browse the site’s libraries, choose a folder, and say where it lands — the Files section or a space. Files show up as they are discovered, and search catches up as they are indexed.
Pick the folder, name the destination.
Browse the site’s document libraries the way you would in SharePoint and stop at the folder you want. On the other side, choose where it lands: the Files section, one of its folders, or a space. The dialog spells out who will see what before you confirm.
Connect as many folders and sites as you like. Each one shows how many files it holds, how many are searchable, and when it was last checked.
What the connection can access
It reads only the folders you connect.
The permission is Microsoft’s, granted per site by your own administrator, and the application lives in your tenant.

Read-only, by construction
Axero Go reads your SharePoint folders and never writes to them. Removing a folder here removes it from the intranet, not from SharePoint.

One site at a time
Access rides Microsoft’s Sites.Selected permission, granted per site by your own administrator. The app reads the sites you named and nothing else in your tenant.

Your tenant, your app registration
The application lives in your Microsoft Entra tenant, under your control. Rotate its secret whenever you like; the intranet warns your admins a month before it expires.

Indexed for search
The text inside synced documents is indexed, so a phrase from a policy is enough to find it — with the same intranet permissions as everything else in search.
Who sees them
You choose who sees each folder.
Some folders are for the whole company; some should stay exactly as private as they are in SharePoint. You decide per site, in plain words, before anything syncs.

Everyone with access to the destination
The default. You publish a folder into Files or into a space, and whoever can see that destination sees everything in it — now and as files are added. The dialog says so in plain words before you confirm.

Only people who can already open them in SharePoint
Each person connects their Microsoft account once, and the intranet checks their own SharePoint access before showing a file. Someone who could not open it in SharePoint does not see it here either.
